Nethybridge Spring Weekend
Spring Weekend 2026 16 members of Angus Cycling Club enjoyed a spring weekend of cycling at the Nethybridge hotel in Speyside. The hotel proved excellent value for money with comfortable rooms and good meals. Despite the weather forecast both Saturday and Sunday runs mainly avoided the rain, but not the wind. The Saturday outing went around by Carrbridge then mainly on cycle paths to Aviemore and on to the Outdoor centre at Loch Inch for lunch before getting blown home to the hotel. The Sunday run was partly off road as we negotiated the path from Nethybridge down past Ryvoan Bothy and down past Glenmore Centre for lunch at the Pine Martin Cafe. Once at Coylumbridge the wind again blew us all the way back to the hotel. Another fine club weekend – thanks to Peter Hargraves for organising.
